Attic insulation is very important because most heat is lost thru the attic. Most homes do not have enough insulation in the attic. With energy costs going up, installing more insulation can better the payback on utility bills because less energy is used. We also check attic ventilation, which is very important because of heat and humidity buildup. You need approximately 1 vent per 150 square feet of soffit and ridge venting.
